What do lower motor neurones do?
A
- Direct messenger to the muscles
- Tell the muscle to start contracting
- Connect the brain stem and anterior horn of the spinal cord to the muscle fibres

What would be present with a motor neurone lesion?
A
- Weakness
- Atrophy
- Decreased reflexes
- Decreased tone / no resistance (floppy)
- Absent babinski reflex
