A

peripheral spinal nerve roots (from different segments) merge and split to produce a network of nerves from which new multi-segmental peripheral nerves emerge

both upper and lower limbs are innervated by nerves from plexi

upper limb - brachial plexus

lower limb - lumbosacral plexus

what is the difference between superficial and deep veins

A

deep veins have the same course as arteries and are deep to the fascia lata surrounding the muscles
deep veins can be venae comitantes

superficial veins are superior to the fascia lata

A

Superficial - hip abductors + extenders

gluteus maximus - inferior gluteal artery, inferior gluteal nerve
gluteus medius - inferior gluteal artery, inferior gluteal nerve
gluteus minimus - superior
tensor fascia lata

deep - lateral rotators:

Obturator internus
quadratus femoris
piriformis
superior + inferior gemelli
