A: Flexes thigh at hip and vertebral columb
Sartorius
O: Anterior superior iliac spine
I: Medial tibia
A: Flexes thigh at hip, leg at knee, rotates thigh laterally
Rectus Femoris
O: Anterior inferior iliac spine
I: Patella and tibial tuberosity via tendon of quadriceps femoris and patellar ligament
A: Extends leg at knee, flexes thigh at hip
Vastus Lateralis
O: Greater trochanter of femur, intertrochanteric line, linea aspera of femur
I: Patella and tibial tuberosity via tendon of quadriceps femoris and patellar ligament
A: Extends leg at knee, stabilizes knee
Vastus Medialis
O: Linea aspera of femur, intertrochanteric line
I: Patella and tibial tuberosity via tendon of quadriceps femoris and patellar ligament
A: Extends leg at knee, stabalizes patella
Vastus Intermedius
O: Shaft of femur
I: Patella and tibial tuberosity via tendon of quadriceps femoris and patellar ligament

Tensor Fascia Latae
O: Anterior superior iliac spine, iliac crest
I: Illiotibial tract
A: Flexes thigh at hip, abducts thigh, rotates thigh medially
Adductors
O: Near pubis
I: Linea aspera
A: Adducts thigh, rotation medially and laterally depending upon group of adductor stimulated
Gluteus Maximus
O: Posterior ilium, sacrum, coccyx
I: Iliotibial tract, gluteal tuberosity of femur
A: Rotates thigh laterally, extends thigh at hip, abducts thigh
Gluteus Medius
O: Lateral surface of illium
I: Greater trochanter of femur
A: Abducts thigh, rotates thigh medially
Gluteus Minimus
O: Lateral surface of ilium
I: Greater trochanter of femur
A: Abducts thigh, rotates thigh medially
Biceps Femoris Long Head
O: Ischial tuberosity
I: Head of fibula and lateral condyle of tibia
A: Extends thigh at hip, flexes leg at knee, rotates leg laterally.
Biceps Femoris Short Head
O: Linea Aspera
