c) Pre-myeloma condition

A

a) Hypercalcaemia (depression, stones, polyuria, constipation, confusion), Renal dysfunction, Anaemia (TATT, pallor, SOB, etc.), Bone fractures/pain (especially vertebral)
b) FBC, UandEs, calcium, renal function, serum (IgG/IgA) and urine (BJ) protein electrophoresis, XR of affected regions (vertebral #, pepperpot skull), bone marrow aspirate to confirm diagnosis
c) Monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS)
