  • Low Visibility Procedures are in force
  • the flight crew members are properly qualified for LVO
  • CM 1 is PF for takeoff

Definition “Low Visibility Takeoff (LVTO)”?

OM A 8.4.4.1

A

A LVTO is a takeoff where the RVR is less than 400m but not less than 75m.
However for Condor Boeing A/C the minimum RVR for a LVTO is 150m.

During Approach Preparation: No NDB App. is stored in FMC. What options do you have? What limitation is valid?

If no approach is stored in the FMC, the approach may be constructed by creating Fixes or RWY
extensions or by using any other FMC stored approach if within 3 degrees of the planned
approach.
VNAV should not be used on a manually constructed approach.
