Why did the Lovell revolt occur? And what happened?

A
  • Lovell +Stafford believed the Earl of Warwick should be king. (In the tower)
  • Lovell rebelled at Middleham (yorkist ground)
    And intended to match to York.
  • Stafford revolted in Worcestershire gaining support by saying his attainder had been pardoned.
  • H7 with his 3,000 men scared the rebel’s away as Lovell fled.
  • Stafford heard the news and returned to sanctuary. Leaving the rebel’s.
