Why did the Lovell revolt occur? And what happened?
- Lovell +Stafford believed the Earl of Warwick should be king. (In the tower)
- Lovell rebelled at Middleham (yorkist ground)
And intended to match to York. - Stafford revolted in Worcestershire gaining support by saying his attainder had been pardoned.
- H7 with his 3,000 men scared the rebel’s away as Lovell fled.
- Stafford heard the news and returned to sanctuary. Leaving the rebel’s.
