Coral island
Mentioned in the beginning of the book - boys say this is going to be fun like coral island
At the end the naval officer comes and asks if this is like coral island
-
Coral island is unrealistic and Golding hated that, he wanted to show the reality of what happens when boys are alone on an island without any adults and that it won’t be a happy ending
Two of the characters in coral island is Ralph and Jack and Golding used those names
