I wander through each chartered street
-Chartered is something which is listed and regulated, the
streets are clearly controlled but it suggests the Thames, the
river likewise is controlled, nature controlled by man.

-“Infants cry of fear” Presents children lacked basic necessities in london
-Men are meant to be masculine expressing no emotion but due to the inequality of power emotions become overwhelming forcing them to “cry”
