What is a firewall?
In computing, a firewall is software or firmware that enforces a set of rules about what data packets will be allowed to enter or leave a network.
What is a backup?
Backup refers to the copying of physical or virtual files or databases to a secondary site for preservation in case of equipment failure or other catastrophe.
What is encryption?
In computing, encryption is the method by which plaintext or any other type of data is converted from a readable form to an encoded version that can only be decoded by another entity if they have access to a decryption key.
What are software updates?
Software updates/ patches is when a company updates their recent version of a certain product bringing out new fixes to bugs making it more secure
What is anti-virus?
Antivirus software is a class of program designed to prevent, detect and remove malware infections on individual computing devices, networks and IT systems.
How do user ID/ passwords help?
When people create a new user ID and create their passwords it makes them have a levelled tier of access making it harder for people to hack them
