Logic
is concerned with the system from the greek “together” also called logical system
Axiomatic(Symboliic logic)
Constituted by a language, rules of inference or rules of reasoning, axioms, and theorems Which follow from the rules of inference or rules of inference
Soundness
is the systems property of being not too strong in a certain regarda
Logical Implication
A relation that holds between two statements when the truth of one ensures the truth of the other
Epistemic Charity
If a sentence is trye in a person’s language if, and only if, some chicken swim, then that tells us the meaning of the sentences in the persons language
Logical Consequence
The proposition, sentence, or other information that follows logically from one or more declarative sentences( which can themselves not be true)
Semantic Consequence
The information that follows fromt the meaning of a term
Consequence Relation
Which means the same as implication
Hetu
means “reason”, is a term in indian logic denoting the reason on whose basis something is inferred.
Hetu must meet condition 1
Must be knowledge of the universal and invariable concimitance between the middle and major term sadhya
Hetu condition 2
Must be considered necessarily and unconditionally present in the minor term
Hetu Condition 3
Must not be found where the major term is not found
Hetu Condition 4
Must not be related to something absurd
Hetu Condition 5
Must not be contradicted by an equally strong middle term

Is the principle that if a statement is logically follows from its own negotion.
