What is an SLI?
Carefully selected monitoring metric that measures one aspect of a services reliability.
What is an SLO?
Combines a service level indicator with a target reliability and will generally be somewhere just short of 100%. (99.9% for example)
What is an SLA?
This is a commitment made to your customers that a systems and applications will only have a certain amount of downtime.
What is Cloud Monitoring used for ?
To gain visibility into the performance, availability, and health of your applications and infrastructure.

Fully managed, real-time log management with storage, search, analysis and alerting at exabyte scale
