Entry without warrant to search for and arrest a person if the Constable has reasonable grounds-
(a) to suspect that a person is unlawfully at large
(b) to believe the person is there

Entry without warrant to avoid loss of offender or evidential material-
Enter/search place/vehicle without warrant to search for/ arrest offender:
RGTS of committing imprisonable offence
RGTB offender is there and if entry isn’t effected immediately then offender will leave and/or CADD of EM will occur.
Sec.9
Stopping vehicle to find persons unlawfully at large or who have committed an imprisonable offence.
RGTS imprisonable offence committed.
RGTB offender in or on vehicle.
Sec.10
Powers and duties of Constable after vehicle stopped.
Constable stopping vehicle may do following:
Require any person in or on the vehicle who Constable has RGTS is unlawfully at large or has committed an imprisonable offence to supply any or all of his name, address or other contact details and date of birth.
Search the vehicle for person (as above).
Search vehicle for EM in relation to offence if the person is seen fleeing from vehicle or has been arrested.
Constable must tell the driver the subject of the search if they aren’t the subject of the search.
