Local controls Flashcards
How do you define a local control for AC block?
local controller provides control and protection for pairing of PCS with battery pack. The PCS may have sub PCS within itself controlled by PCS controller. One local control device per power dispatch interface.
Various states for LC
Ready, Starting, Running (PQ), Stopping, Faulted, Standby, Running (VF), Running (DC current command), Comm Loss, Unkown
Various operational modes
Manual, Auto, Maintenance
Describe Start state
Transition unit from ready state to standby or running
Describe Stop state
Transition unit from running/standby to stopped/ready state
Describe Reset state
Rest all fault and alarms
Describe Running state
send manual active or reactive power dispatch commands
LC manual mode
Transition LC to manual mode
Descriibe Auto mode
Transition unit to auto mode
Describe maintainence mode

- Li SOC Limit - Indicator that SOC limit hit; means power command may not be met as maintaining SOC is higher priority. This is indicator only, and may in many applications be an expected run condition.
- ES Command Error -* Energy Scheduling command error. When active, power is curtailed to zero. Energy Schedule commands must be set for correct polarity*
- ES Command OoB - *A scheduled Energy Schedule mode command (power or SOC command for at least one of the 96 entries) is out of bounds; see Energy Schedule holding register command definition for min/max bounds *
- System Run Log Fail
- Override Active - A test mode or factory override is active
