- It is an analysis tool to understand

- Key implication of VUCA conditions is that there is uncertainty that makes it difficult to predict and plan with great accuracy.
Understanding the legal and regulatory environment within a project such as:
- Working conditions

Working conditions
- Working conditions are set out by employment law
- Governs what employers can expect from employees, what it tells them to do and rights at work
- Covers types of discrimination, disability provisions, dismissal of employees and grievance procedures, working hours, leave entitlement, employment contracts and pay
- Project manager must understand which legislative requirement to use
- Project manager must ensure necessary training and communication is conducted
- Project manager must create the right working conditions for the project in accordance with legislation
Management of risk in the workplace
- PM must understand risks in area of work and take steps to highlight these and take proactive steps to manage the risks
- This also extends to all staff within the business
- Health and safety within a project will be outlined by the health, safety and environmental management plan
