What are disadvantages of using emails?

  • You need an internet connection
  • You can’t send big files
  • Things may be missed if they get sent to the junk folder
  • Viruses easily spread with email attachments
  • Spam
  • Things sent may not be sen straight away
  • Phishing - sending an email to a user falsely claiming to be a legitimate company to scam the user into providing information.
