Animals move from place to place
Plants open and close petals, and turn to face the sun

Respiration is the release of energy from food
Sensitivity
Living things are aware of what is around them
Animals can react quickly
Plants react to light water and gravity slowly
Feeding
Plants make there own food
Animals need to eat plants or other animals to get energy
Excretion
Excretion is the removal of wastes that have been made in the body of an animal or plant
Sweat carbon dioxide urine and water are excreted by animals
water and oxygen and excreted by plants
Reproduction

Cannot make there own food
Divided into invertebrates and vertebrates
Vertebrates have a backbone e.g. human, dog, fish, birds
Invertebrates do not have a backbone e.g. worms insects snails

Make there own food (Photosynthesis)
Know the difference between them by studying their leaves and flowers
