Movement
Animals move from place to place
Plants open and close petals, and turn to face the sun
Respiration
Respiration is the release of energy from food
Plants and animals need this to stay alive
Sensitivity
Living thing are aware of what is around them
Animals can react quickly
Plants react or light water and gravity slowly
Feeding
Plants make there own food
Animals need to eat plants or other animals to get energy
Excretion
Excretion is the removal of wastes that have been made in the body of an animal or plant
Sweat carbon dioxide urine water are excreted by animals
Water and oxygen are excreted by plants
Repreduction
Repreduction is making babys
Growth
Getting bigger
Animals
Can move
Cannot make own food
Divided into invertebrates and vertebrates
Vertebrates have a backbone e.g. human dog fish birds
Invertebrates do not have a backbone e.g. worms insects snails
Plants
Fixed in one position
Makenthere own food (photosynthesis)
