Surah 5- Paradise
Those who do good and forbid what is wrong will gain paradise.
Surah 3- Basic Belief
Islam’s basic belief is that ‘There is no God but He, the Exalted in Power.’
Surah 4- Prayer
Muslims must make regular prayers at the set times.
Surah 96 (the first revelation)- Night of Power
On the Night of Power, Muhammad was commanded by God, ‘Proclaim in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, who created man out of congealed blood.’

Giving zakah protects a Muslim’s property and helps relatives to recover from disease.
Surah 22- Pilgrimage
Muslims should go on pilgrimage, complete the rites prescribed for them, perform their vows, and circumambulate the Ka’aba.
Surah 2- Violence
Muslims must fight in self-defence, but must keep to God’s rules.
The sermon given on Id-ul-Fitr- Ramadan
The religious duties of the first ten days of Ramadan gain the mercy of God, those of the second ten merit his pardon, while those of the last ten save those who do them from the punishment of hell’.
Muhammad, hadith- Id-ul-adha
Muslims should eat some of the sacrifice of Id-ul-Adha and use the rest to help the needy.
Shi’a hadith- Ashura
A single tear shed for Husayn washes away a hundred sins.
