Carbohydrates (carbs) are the main source of energy in food. The body breaks down carbs into glucose (a type of sugar) which is used as energy

What is the function of fibre (dietary fibre)
Fibre provides bulk which helps with the movement of matter through intestines. Dietary fibre softens and increases the weight and volume of your faeces. Lack of fibre will cause watery stool and constipation

Water is a reactant of many of the chemical reactions that occur in the body. Dehydration can cause low blood pressure.
