a mature male swine that has NOT been castrated
Boar
a castrated male swine (cannot breed)
Barrow
term for all things related to horses or generic for an individual animal
Equine
the process of giving birth in horses
Foaling
a generic term for a young equine of either sex
Foal
a young or immature female equine (up to 2 or 3 years of age)
Filly
a young or immature male equine (up to 2 or 3 years of age)
Colt
a horse that is 12-24 months of age (of either sex)
Yearling
a mature female horse
