A

A clinical syndrome resulting from massive necrosis of liver cells leading to impairment of function

A

Jaundice
Hepatic encephalopathy
Fetor hepaticus: smell of pear drops

Signs of chronic liver disease:

  • varices
  • palmar erythema
  • nails go white
