Autoantibodies (ANA, ASMA)
Immunological (IgM, IgG)
Biochemistry (a1 antitrypsin; serum and urinary Copper and caeruloplasmin; serum iron, transferrin saturation, serum ferritin)
Additional blood investigations which include:
Haematological tests (FBC)

3. Imaging techniques (ultrasound, X-ray, CT, MRI, Endoscopy)
4. Liver biopsy
