Petrarch was the father of humanism. He wrote sonnets about Laura and it was unrequited love.
What book did Boccacio write? What is it about? What was different with it?
Bocaccio wrote a book called Decameron and it is about 10 young people that are going to the country side to get away from the plague and all of them had their own special story as normal people. The Decameron was different because it was avout normal people.
Who wrote the Prince? What does it mean? And what was the famous phrase?
Machiavelli wrote The Prince. It is about how to gain and keep power, the famous phrase is “The ends justify the means” and that means do whatever it takes to get to the top!
What book did Dante write and what was the most famous part? What did he write it in? Why did it get so famous?
Dante wrote the book Divine Comedy and the most famous part was Inferno. He wrote it in Vernacular (the common language)-(Italian), because people now had a chance to be able to read it and started learning to read.
