Part to stand for a whole, or a whole to stand for a part.

Can be defined as poetry that is free from limitations.
Couplet

The patter of rhythm that comes at the end of each verse.
Allusion
A reference, brief, to a person, place, thing, event.
Sonnet
A poem, generally structured in the form of 14 lines. Expresses a thought or idea.
Lyric
Expresses the writer’s emotions, usually brief.
