Writing that helps to describe an object or feeling. Example similes and metaphors
Figurative language
The angle from which a story is told example 1st person, third person
Point of view
The time and the place of a story’s action
Setting
Anxious curiosity the reader feels about what will happen next in the story
Suspense
A comparison of two unlike things using like or as
Simile
A clash between personal and public interest of a person
Conflict
Character struggles with an outside force such as another person or nature
External conflict
Any event or action that leads to a certain result
