This refers to the words written by the writer and spoken by the characters in the play. It connotes action in the play.
Dialogue
A literary technique often used to describe the manner of opening your story in the midst of action so that exposition is bypassed and filled in gradually, either through dialogue, flashbacks, or descriptions of past events.
In Medias res - “into the middle of things”
parts of the drama. ( main parts of the drama scenes - smaller sections of acts)

Tragedy
Exaggerate sensational and romantic topics to play with the readers’ feelings and emotions.

Blend aspects of both tragedy and comedy.

Satire
Tries to make people laugh by caricaturing the spirit of serious works, or by the ridiculous treatment of their subjects.

a nonsensical, overacted comedy play that often uses slapstick humor.
Farce
Is a comedy play that satirizes the manners and pretentiousness of a social class or several classes, and often uses stereotypes.

Dialogue
a longer speech that one character says directly to the other characters onstage. All the others onstage can hear this. It is intended to communicate directly to them.
Monologue
a longer speech that a character gives onstage that no one else can hear. No one except the audience, that is. It may be spoken directly to the audience.
Soliloquy
a short one or two-line comment that is made directly to the audience by a single character. No other characters onstage can hear it. Comments directly to the audience about what is happening in the play.
Aside
dramatists who write the plays’ scripts,
which are then staged in theatrical productions.
Playwrights
has a beginning, middle and end. Short, but it is not a sketch.
