Portentous(Adjective)
Done in A pompously or overly solemnly manner so as to impress.

Litote
An understatement in which the affirmative is expressed by the negative of the contrary (as in “not a bad singer” or “not unhappy”).
Loose Sentence
A type of sentence in which the main idea (independent clause) is elaborated by The success of addition of modifying clauses or phrases.
Lyric
Short poem written in repeating stanzaic form, often designed to be set to music. Unlike a ballad a lyric does not usually have a plot.
Meter
A rhythm of accented and unaccented syllables which are organized into patterns called feet.
Metonymy(Noun)
The substitution of the name of an attribute or adjunct for that of the thing Meant. For example suit for the business executive or the track for the racehorse.
