Beers on Draft:
GDBC Orabelle, Epic Hopulent IPA, GDBC Oak Aged Yeti, Odell Rotator, Run Off Red Ale for opening, Firestone Walker Pils
Duvel Single,
Epic Hopulent IPA:
Hopulent IPA is a big beer with lots of complex malt flavor and excessive hops. This beer will have changes to the grain bill and seasonal hop changes. The character of Hopulent IPA is over the top, too much of everything—a real HOP HEADS DELIGHT! abv: 8.7%
GDBC Oak Aged Yeti:
CHOCOLATE OAK AGED YETI IMPERIAL STOUT is another revered incarnation of our legendary imperial stout. We toned down the hops a bit to allow cocoa nibs to contribute some pleasing bitterness, while vanilla notes from the oak combine with the cocoa to create an aroma and flavor akin to a gourmet chocolate bar. A dash of cayenne keeps things lively, adding just a bit of heat to the finish. Another great Yeti? Hell yes. ABV.: 9.5%
Odell Run Off Red Ale:
This time of year in the Rockies, one day can span all four seasons. Morning snow gives way to afternoon sun, sending fresh snowmelt into our rivers and into our mash tun. With a complex malt backbone dry hopped for notes of citrus and pine, it’s almost as surprising as the season itself Available January through April. 6.5%Alc. by Vol. 50IBUs
Duvel Single:
Created by the Moortgat family, bottled Duvel is one of Belgium’s favorite ales. The secret of its success lies in using only best-quality ingredients, and in the well-balanced, very specific, complex brewing and refermentation process that takes over 90 days. After brewing and first fermentation – which takes about 30 days – the beer is tasted by the brewmaster and his staff. At this stage this beer is called “single-fermented.” Typical Duvel flavors and aromas are already emerging, but the beer is lower in alcohol and carbonation, and the taste is slightly lighter and crisper. abv 6.8%
Firestone Walker Pivo Hoppy Pils:
Everything we love about classic German Pilsner with a hoppy Bohemian twist. Pils is a bright straw colored lager beer with playful carbonation topped with beautiful white foam lace. Delicate lightly toasted malt flavors underscore noble German hop character. Hallertau-grown Magnum hops deliver the lupulin foundation while generous amounts of Spalter Select hops bring floral aromatic and spicy herbal notes. As a twist on the traditional Pils, we dry hop with German Saphir for a touch of bergamot zest and lemongrass. A refreshing, light-bodied and hop-driven Pils. abv: 5.3%
Bottles:
Madriver Steelhead Xtra pale ale, Grand Tetons Weiss, Brasserie de Silly Saison, Dogfish head Imperial IPA, Crazy Mountain Amber, Avery New World Porter
Grand Tetons Weiss:
Howling Wolf Weisse Bier is an unfiltered Bavarian-style Hefeweizen. Brewed with a hearty amount of wheat, this Weissbier pours a light clouded golden color with a generous head. Gently hopped to balance the malt sweetness, Howling Wolf’s flavors and aromas are subtle with a hint of fruit and spice. At 5% alcohol by volume, this light-bodied ale is a refreshing session beer for any time of year.
Brasserie de Silly Saison:
Saison style top fermentation old brown beer.
Colour: brown colouring 45 EBC.
Ingredients: Water, aromatic malt, sugar, yeast, Kent hop, hallertau hop.
Density: 5% ABV 11.3° Plato.
Packaging: 25cl, 33cl, 75cl Apo bottles, 25l barrel.
Drinking temperature: serve between 4 and 9°C.
Storage: very long time under normal storage conditions.
Taste comments:
Its taste is remarkable, light and favourably combined to offer a tone that is both modestly sweetened and fruity, leaving the mouth with a refreshing feel as is constantly asked of it.
Dogfish head Imperial IPA:
Tasting Notes: Brandied fruitcake, raisiney, citrusy.Food Pairing Recommendations: Pork chops, beef, grilled fish, frites, focaccia, split pea soup, Stilton cheese & escargot
Glassware Recommendation: IPA glass. Wine Comparable: Sauvignon blanc ABV 9.0%
Crazy Mountain Amber:
Crazy Mountain Amber Ale was named after a mountain on the Selvy Family’s ranch in Central Colorado. “Loco Mountain” translates from Spanish to “Crazy Mountain,” and this beer is crazy good. This delightfully floral American style Amber Ale displays a wonderful balance while still maintaining a profound hoppy goodness. We load this beer with a ridiculous and obscene amount of West Coast hops that are added late in the boil, resulting in a hoppy beer without any bitterness. Food Pairings: Port-Salut or other lightly tangy cheese, Bar-b-que foods, poached pears with dulce de leche. ABV: 5.25%
Avery New World Porter:
Beer Style: Dry-Hopped Porter. Hop Variety: Columbus, Cascade. Dry Hop Variety: Columbus, Cascade Malt Variety: Two-row barley, Munich, Chocolate, Black, Carapils, Caramel 120. OG: 1.065 ABV: 6.7% A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist — it’s dry-hopped! We’ve expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter. Food pairing: Dry-rubbed pork ribs or spicy guacamole with parillos peppers (a Oaxacan smoked pepper) create intense complimentary flavors that can stand up to the robust hop and malt flavors of New World Porter.
