Southern Comfort
Peach flavored whisky liqueur- made with bourbon whiskey , fruit and herbs like cinnamon and vanilla, matured in oak barrels. Traditionally prepared with lemonade on the rocks.
Midori
Honeydew Melon flavored liqueur made in mexico. Vibrant Green Color. Mixed with baily’s, malibu or sparkling apple juice!
Pernod and Ricard
Two different options for an anise based spirit that is dry, delicate and floral, but also strong. Mix with water. France.
Raki
A turkish anise spirit. Distilled from figs, plums and raisins. Turns milky when water is added for serving.
Sambuca
Anise and elderberry flavored liqueur from Italy. Used to make the slippery nipple cocktail which is grenadine topped with sambuca and then topped with baileys! Best brands are luxardo, smeets, galliano and the exceptional Molinari.
Benedictine
Made with 27 herbs and spices in France, Originally concocted by a benedictine monk to prevent illnesses like malaria.
Chartreuse
“An Elixir of Long life” - A base of grape brandy and 130 botanicals are used to make this oak aged liqueur. IT can be green or greenish yellow in color. WHich is a natural result of herbal infusions.

A German herbal liqueur.
Drambuie
Scottish whiskey based liqueur.
Amaretto
Apricot and Almond Liqueur. Used to make the godfather cocktail.

hazelnut infused spirit with added cocoa, coffee, vanilla, rhubarb and orange flowers, matured in oak casks. Great in coffee or tea at the end of the meal.

Coconut Rum aged for 2 years in oak barrels. Made in scotland.

Tia Maria, Bolivar and Kahlua
Tia Maria is origianlly jamaican but now produced in italy. Its Coffee infused Rum.
Bolivar is canadian coffee liqueur made by Kitlling Ridge.
Kahlua is an arabica coffee liquer produced in italy by same company that makes Tia Maria. Has molasses falvors and slight bitterness.

4 basic types of sake and what they mean :
1: Junmai-Shu - made only from rice with no added alcohol, usually fuller bodied
2: Honjozo-shu- made with a small amount of alcohol spirit, light, dry, fragrant.
3: Ginjo-Shu- very high quality and made with highly polished rice. complex, fruity, delicate.
4: Daiginjo-shu- made with the highest grade of polished rice, exceptionally frangrant and delicate.
