Eurydice: Maybe, but it doesnt count for anything when you have nothing to sing.

Eurydice: Um… right. Well, iim just going to sit here and you can sit there and you can just let me when this passes.
[Hades enters]
I’ve never understood how that umbrella is sufficient to keep you dry out there.
Hades: It’s my water. I can do what I like with it. For you, it’s a flood. For me, a drizzle.
Eurydice: Who would have thought that under all that earth was just a whole lot of water. So what do you want today… Ralph, is it?
Hades: I was feeling simple today. A simple name for a simple man.
Eurydice: Right. What is it you want?
Hades: TVs. Apparently someone has been fraying the wires on some of the sets. Like a little mouse. Or Rat. You know the rules. Don’t test my patience.
Eurydice: I wasn’t aware you had any to test.
Hades: Careful. You are but a chickadee. And I, I am a big daddy vulture. Amd when I get angry, I get hungry.Hungry for little birds like you.
Juliet: It was the nightingale, and not the lark,

Hades: What’s wrong with her?
Eurydice: Too much Television. Listen… Ralph. You killed me twice. If you wanted to make me disappear for real, you’d have done it a long time ago. But you know what I think? I think you don’t know how. Ah, “Either my eyesight fails, or thou look’st pale.” So if you wouldn’t mind, H-
Hades: Now, now. What did I tell you about trying to say my name? [SNAP FINGERS] You know, you’re pretty when you don’t fight so much.
Eurydice: Men’s eyes were made to look, and let them gaze; I will not budge for no man’s pleasure, I.”
Hades: Ah, taking a page from her book, are we?
Euryidice: …. Just leave me be so I can continue to fester in this semi-solitary confinement.
You act as though you dont enjoy my visits.
Eurydice: Enjoy?!

Hades: Are you not content? You could be dead. Do you know it is to be dead, really dead? It is to be nothing! No memories, no words, nothing but a rotting corpse in the ground whose memory will die forever when your last kinsman falls. You should be grateful that your stories have lived on. Because do you know what would happen if they didn’t? You would turn to dust. Your story, your heartbreak, everything that makes you what you are would be gone. And you would be nothing more than a particle beneath the surface of the earth.
Juliet: Exile hath more terror in his look,

Eurydice: You didn’t take her. She killed herself. You can’t claim her as your victory.
Hades: And who do you think controls the dagger?
Eurydice: The quill. You may be the mastermind down here, but someone was the mastermind behind you. Just like me. Just like her. I may not be able to leave this place, but you and I are made of the same ink. my fate does not rest in your hands. It was determined a long, long time ago by a man who is now nothing more than dust, as you say. There is no evolution here. Just… revolution.
Hades: Perhaps. But regardless of who wrote the story a long, long time ago, it’s my story now. You have no power down here. Neither of you. “Women, being the weaker vessels, are ever thrust to the wall.”
Eurydice: “Women may fall, when there’s no strength in men.”
Hades: “Farewell! God knows when we shall meet again.
I have a faint cold fear thrills through my veins,
Than almost freezes up the heat of life.”
At least it would, were I alive, that is.
