Line Recognition Flashcards
The line is always from villain perspective, just like the ether grids. The number listed with the line shows the number of "call zones" there are, which is simply a new name for an overbluffed line. Sometimes there will be two numbers, such as 1(2). This means there is one overbluffed line, with a low pair call zone, and two top pair call zones, where all or most top pair is a call.

- nFCR (huge)
- 4 card flush (huge)
- Turn overcard (huge)
- Low board stays low (huge)
- double Broadway flop, low runout (huge)
Zero underbluffed zones, but there will still be gray zone folds.

*nFCR better than FCR, not a call zone by itself though.
All other textures are massive fold zones.

they’re massively over bluffing on RIVER ACE OR OVERCARD and LOW BOARD STAYS LOW, turning tons of low pairs into bluffs.

the B-B-OVERBET by regs is actually CALL on many textures. Those are not listed here.
There are 5 significant CALLS for normal sizes:
- Turn A/overcard
- River A/overcard
- nFCR
3 significant FOLDS:
- monotone flop
- 4 card straight turn
- 4 card flush river.

FISH
We don’t have textural data for fish, but any bet size under 60% is call, 80% + is fold

FISH
All Formations

Fish’s bluffing frequency has no correlation to formations. Early positions are equally as balanced as BTN.
60-80% sizing CALL, larger than that always under bluffed.
SRP B-B-B IP AGRESSOR
Only 2 CALL patterns
- Turn over card
- nFCR
Because nFCR will be a lot of boards, and there’s a lot of balanced textures in this line, we need to make note of the 3 FOLD zones (for 60-80% sizing) so that we can be sure to fold these spots even if it’s nFCR.
FOLD:
- Triple broadway flop or turn
- monotone flop (TPTK still a call)
- 4 card straight TURN
- 4 card flush RIVER
