Additional Flight Limitations

  • Aerobatics PROHIBITED
  • NO flight into known icing conditions
  • Fuel crossfeed under emergency ONLY
  • With inlet screens installed MIN temp is 2 C if visible moisture is present
  • Engine inlet anti-ice and pitot heat must be ON during operations at temperatures less than 4 C
  • Engine anti-ice must be ON during operation at 4 C
  • Ops with baggage bin or any part of the baggage bin installation are PROHIBITED with the airframe in-line fuel filter system installation
  • Wind limits for starting rotors Figure 1-9
  • Negative g maneuvers are PROHIBITED
  • Flight into known thunderstorms or areas of moderate to severe turbulence is prohibited
  • Starter for longer than 30 seconds and/or 3 starts in any 30 min period is prohibited
  • Rotor brake application below 40% Nr is prohibited
