Max Operating Altitude
41,000 feet
Crosswind limit for normal takeoff for airport elevation 7,000 feet MSL or below.
30 knots
A220-100 Crosswind limit for landing.
35 knots - including gusts
A220-300 Crosswind limit for landing.
29 knots - including gusts
Max tailwind component approved for takeoff and landing.
10 knots, or as restricted by Delta Company Pages
Max crosswind component for engine start and ice shedding.
43 knots
Max tailwind component for engine start and ice shedding.

Turbulence Penetration Speed
At or below 10,000 feet, maintain 250 KIAS.
Above 10,000 feet maintain 280 KIAS or .75 Mach, whichever is lower.
Autopilot Engagement
The minimum altitude for engagement of the autopilot is 400 feet AGL.
The minimum altitude for use of the autopilot is 80 feet AGL, unless using autoland.
Max altitude with slats/flaps extended
20,000 feet
Do not use spoilers
Below 1000 feet AFE
- Max Spoilers Prohibited except in an Emergency.
Unreliable Airspeed
- Autopilot - Disengage
- Autothrottle. - Select Off
- FD - Select Off

- Pitch - Set 12.5 degrees NU
- Thrust levers - Advance to Max
Smoke / Fire / Fumes
- Oxygen masks - If required, On, 100% and EMERGENCY
NOTE: The flight crew should don the oxygen mask any time smoke/fire/fumes are detected in the flight deck.
