LIMITATIONS Flashcards
Engine Anti/Ice on when…?
Engine Anti/Ice ON during all ground operations when icing conditions exist or are anticipated. i.e. 10 C and below & visible moisture.
ON during flight (except during climb or cruise when SAT is below -40 C) Engine Anti/Ice must be ON prior to and during descent in icing conditions including below -40 C
Total Fuel Load (approx)
42,000 lbs total fuel 14.5 center 27.5 wings together 13.7 L/R 1560 ea. outer wing 12,200 ea. inner wing
Avionics ventilation
When OAT is above 120F (or 49C) do not power the avionics for more than 2 hours unless the ventilation system is operating normally
Cabin Pressure Max +/- delta P
Cabin Pressure Max + delta P is 8.6 psi
Cabin Pressure MAx - delta P is -1.0 psi
these are approximate values at which the safety valves will open +/- 0.1 psi
Contaminated Runway / reduced thrust Takeoff
Reduced thrust takeoff is NOT ALLOWED on a contaminated runway
MAX speed for flight test of RAT
250 KIAS max speed for RAT test
Vmo / Mmo
Vmo 350 KIAS
Mmo .82 Mach
MAX runway slope
MAx runway slope +2%

APU altitude limitations for Electrics, 1 pack, or 2 packs
APU altitude limitations:
Electric = max flight altitude
1 pack = 22,500 ( realistically FL220 )
2 packs = 15,000
