ICE AND RAIN PROTECTION
IN FLIGHT

A

The engine and wing anti-ice systems operate automatically, in case of ice encounter when the Ice Protection Mode Knob is in the AUTO position.

If either one or both ice detectors are failed, the Crew must set the Mode Selector to ON when icing conditions exists or are anticipated below 10 C TAT with visible moisture.
