IR FAULT LIGHT
- FLASHING…ATT & HDG may be recoverable
- STEADY…IR not recoverable
ON BAT LIGHT
- aircraft batteries powering one or more ADIRU (horn will sound when on grnd)
- briefly during the beginning of a full alignment, 5 sec’s
IR ALIGN LIGHTS
- FLASHING…Alignment Fault:
- aircraft moved during alignment
- no ppos entered within 10 mins of NAV selection
- 1° difference LAT/LONG (memory)
ADR P/B
- FAULT…Failure of the Air Data Reference unit
- OFF…ADR is disconnected
GEN 1 LINE P/B
- OFF…GEN 1 Line contactor opens, #1 fuel pump in each wing is fed by GEN 1 feeder, GEN 2 pwrs AC Bus 1 via Bus Tie
Contactors - SMOKE…smoke is detected in the avionics ventilation duct
RAT/EMERG GEN FAULT LIGHT
- emergency gen is not supplying power(EME PWR CONFIG) when AC BUS 1&2 are not powered
MAN ON P/B
- AUTO… RAT extends if AC BUS 1&2 not powered and airspeed > 100k
- MAN ON…RAT manually extended for EMERG GEN coupling
TERR P/B
- FAULT…Terrain (enhanced mode) failed, does not affect basic GPWS
- OFF….EGPWS functions disabled
SYS P/B (GPWS)
- OFF…GPWS warnings are inhibited except TERR mode
- FAULT…GPWS failure (Modes 1 thru 5)
Mode 1 = Excessive descent rate “Sink Rate”
Mode 2 = Excessive terrain closure “Terrain, Terrain”
Mode 3 = Altitude loss after T/O “Don’t Sink”
Mode 4 = Unsafe terrain clearance “Too Low Flaps”
Mode 5 = Excessive GS deviation “Glideslope”
G/S MODE P/B
- OFF…Mode 5 (glideslope) warning is inhibited
FLAP MODE P/B
- OFF…Mode 4 warnings for Flaps inhibited - Unsafe terrain clearance…“Too Low Flaps”
LDG FLAP 3 P/B
- ON…Mode 4 warnings for Flaps 3 are inhibited,
- Mode 4 = Unsafe Terrain Clearance…..”Too Low Flaps”
RCDR GND CTL P/B
- AUTO…CVR & DFDR energized automatically:
1. For 5 mins after initial aircraft power up
2. After an engine is started
3. Remain powered 5 mins after engine shutdown - ON…….CVR & DFDR energized, ON lt out after ENG strt

2. PINK LIGHT flashes at all FA’s Call Panels

4. Hi/Low chime sounds 3x all cabin spkrs - EMER CALL from Cabin:
1. ON/CALL light flashes
2. 3 long buzzers
ENG FIRE P/B
-ILLUMINATED…Dual gas loops in Pylon Nacelle, Fan & Core. Losing both loops within 5 secs = Fire Warning
- PUSH…1. Cancels aural warning
2. Arms squibs
3. Closes LP fuel valve & IDG cooling return line
4. Closes Hyd fire valve
5. Closes Bleed valve
6. Closes Pack valve
7. Deactivates GEN & Cuts off FADEC pwr supply
APU FIRE P/B
-ILLUMINATED…Dual gas loops in APU compartment, on ground auto shutdown & discharge of fire bottle in 3 secs (ext. Horn)
- PUSH…1. Cancels aural warning
2. Arms squibs
3. Closes LP fuel valve
4. APU fuel pump off
5. APU Bleed close
6. Crossbleed close
7. APU Gen deactivated
AGENT P/B
-SQUIB…Corresponding FIRE P/B must be pushed to arm
…Pressed = Bottle discharges, #1 starts 30 sec timer on ECAM
