Aux lighting illuminates what and is powered by what bus?
Illuminates the underside of the glareshield and is powered by the emergency bus.
EMER LTS toggle:
When is the light amber versus green:
Meaning of the following
Off:
On:
Arm:
Amber when the toggle is off, but is receiving power, and green when it is on/armed.
OFF: system is deactivated
ON: manual activation
ARM: auto activation with: 5G impact, loss of all DC power, or PAX safety switch is on
What does the emergency lighting consist of:
- All emergency exit signs
- Lavatory light
- 5 overhead seat/table lights
- Partial aisle floor lighting
- Two lights on the right fuselage
- One shark light in the right landing gear light well
- One light near the stairs on the left fuselage
What three power sources are there for the emergency lights and how long will each last?
- Main DC: indefinitely
- EMER bus: 60 minutes (if selected within 5 minutes)
- EMER power packs: 10 minutes
What turns on when pressing the PAC safety switch?
Emergency lighting and the no smoking sign.
If the entry lights have been turned on, will they ever turn off?
Yes, after 15 minutes
What does pressing the day/night button do?
Dims all the switch lights, powers the panel and EL panel rheostats, and powers the ice detection lights on the windshield
What is the ground Recog light?
Rotating beacon
When will the taxi light turn on and what is required for activation?
Only on the ground. All 3 squat switches must indicate ground mode
What are the anti-collision lights?
Wingtip strobes
What is the Recog light for?
Dims the landing lights
