what is luminous and non-luminous
A
luminous makes its own light while non-luminous reflect light from other sources

what are shadows?
A
they are formed when opaque objects block their way, and because light travels in straight lines

A
it can be produced if the object is closer to the pinhole

what is the difference between point source and extended source
A
a point source is a small source of light that produces a sharp shadow, while an extended source is a large light source which produced umbra(dark region), penumbra(light region because some light goes there)
