Q

Glenohumeral (three ligg.; superior, middle, inferior)

A

function- stabilizes glenohumeral articulation

Superior: stabilizes against inferior translation of the humerus on the glenoid with humerus at 0 degrees of abduction

Middle: stabilizes against anterior translation of humerus on glenoid

Inferior: stabilizes against inferior translation of humerus on the glenoid with the humerus at 90 degrees of abduction

attachments- from upper part of medial margin of glenoid cavity to lesser tubercle & anatomical neck
