• Body of ischium, behind&below acetabulum and superior neck and root of greater trochanter
• Limits - extension, adduction, medial rotation

• iliopubic eminence and superior pubic ramus and lower part intertrochanteric line
• Limits - Extension, abduction, lateral rotation
