Posterior lamina of Costoclavicular Ligament

A
  • limits elevation of distal clavicle
  • when taut, may inferiorly glide the medial clavicle on the manubrium
  • resists medial movement of the clavicle, absorbing force that would otherwise be imposed on the sternoclavicular disc
