Most common method of good lifting technique
Basic Lift/Diagonal Lift
Used for objects small enough to straddle where you have enough room to use a wide stance
Basic Lift/Diagonal Lift
Used for objects too large to straddle
Power Lift
The objects shift your center of gravity forward & you must push your buttocks out to compensate
Power Lift
For objects w/ uneven weight distribution
Tripod Lift
For small light objects w/ handles close to knee height
Partial Squat Lift
Should only be done w/ objects that weigh a pound or less
Full Golf Pick-Up
Good way to retrieve things out of a car trunk, grocery cart, or washing machine
Partial Golf Pick-Up
Use when objects prevent you from bending your knees
Straight Leg Lift
Use to place objects on an overhead shelf
