again / repeat / re- / over
Bend your dominant hand at the large knuckles and then move your hand in a bit of an arc and touch the palm of your non-dominant (flat) hand with the fingertips of your (bent) dominant hand.
deaf
Raise your index finger and move it to your cheek near the ear. From there, make a movement to a spot on your cheek near your mouth and chin.
hundred
Signing “hundred” uses the letter “C.” To indicate multiple hundreds, you would sign a numeral first. So 100 would be the sign for “one” followed by a “C,” two hundred would use the “two” sign, and so on.
thousand
Like “hundred,” the concept of thousand uses a numeral, followed by touching your bent open hand to your open upturned palm. This should look very similar to the “again” sign.
million
Like “hundred” and “thousand,” the concept of a million uses a numeral followed by the “million” sign. That sign looks similar to “often.” Your bent dominant hand taps your upturned open palm once, at the heel of your hand, and then once again at the balls of your fingers.
hearing (culturally) / speak / say / public
Dominant horizontal “1” hand with forefinger in front of lips moves forward in small circular motion a few times.
learn
A hint for the sign “learn” is to hold your left hand out and pretend there is “information” sitting on the palm. Pick up that information with your fingertips and thumbtip and lift it up and stick it in your head through your forehead.
like (emotion)
Place both your right thumb and your index finger close to your chest. Extend your other fingers. As you move your hand forward slightly, bring your thumb and index finger together.
meet
Two “1” hands or index fingers apart in space with palms facing each other converge toward each other till both forefingers meet. Make sure that thumb is closed like a fist.
name
Stick out your index and middle finger of both hands. Form a cross through moving the fingers of both hands together. Repeat the movement.
nice / clean
Place your left hand in front of you, palm up and moving the flat palm of your right hand across your left hand.
