Active Victim Front Rescue
A
- victim is facing towards me, active means they are flailing around and able to call for help
- swim over to them, push the rescue tube into their chest and under their arms, turn them around to face the wall, push the rescue tube with straight arms

Active Victim Rear Rescue
A
- victim is facing away from me, active means they are flailing around and able to call for help
swim up from behind, wrap both arms through their armpits with flat hands, ask them to kick with you back to the edge of the wall

Passive Victim Front Rescue
A
- victim is facing towards me, face down in the water and is unresponsive
- swim up to them, grab the arm opposite to my dominant one, as you’re twisting them over, push down rescue tube to be on their back

Passive Victim Rear Rescue
A
- victim is facing away from me, face down in the water and is unresponsive
- come up from behind them, put both arms under their armpits, and spin underwater to flip them over into the jesus position, slide tube underneathe them

Passive Victim in Extremely Shallow Water - Face Up
A
- come up to the side of them and put both arms near their head, and put rescue tube underneathe them

Passive Victim in Extremely Shallow Water - Face Down
A
- come up from the side, and flip them towards you, push the rescue tube underneathe them

Multiple Victim Rescue
A
- swim up to the biggest victim first, wrap your arms through their armpits, and ask the other person to hug them
- can also do front active rescue on biggest victim and have the other person hold onto their back
Try to wrap your arms around both of them at once

Passive Submerged Victim Face Down - Shallow Water
A
- come to them underwater, grasp both of their arms, flip them over underwater and bring their arms up near their head, put rescue tube under them

PUT THE TUBE UNDER THEM BEFORE YOU EVEN GET TO THE SURFACE

Suspected Spinal Injury - Face Up in Water
A
- put their arms together by the ears and grasp their arms firmly

Suspected Spinal Victim - Face Down in Water
A
- come up from behind them, put their arms to the side of their head and flip them around to face you

Spinal Backboard Shallow Water
A
- put spinal backboard at an angle once the victim is approaching, black part should be low in the water
