In October 1923, Hitler attempted a Putsch (revolution) which failed and he was sentenced to prison for treason. He used this time as a propaganda stunt, which let him only stay 10 months of 5 yrs in prison. He also wrote a book called Mein Kampf (My Struggle)
What is the fuhrer principle from Mein Kampf?
Hitler argued that to be successful, his party needed one all-powerful leader (Fuhrer)- in other words, Hitler himself
What is the Reichstag Principle from Main Kampf?
Hitler argued that outright rebellion would not get the Nazis into power. rather he believed that they would get themselves elected into the Reichstag and then they would take over within.
