- Professional- individuals trained to help you and exploration process
- Para- professional- individual such as pastors youth ministers and teachers who have train people and like development

- experimental- activities we engage in specifically for the purpose of trying to gain information

- Listening-the skill of acting in a nonjudgmental manner rather than simply judging with the other person is saying and either jumping to conclusions about what’s being said we’re already planning what you’re going to say
- mediating- quietly contemplating the meaning of what you have learned
