1 Peter 4:10
“So in everything, do unto others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

“God created us with an intricate design in a fearful and wonderful manner that was part of his intent before we ever came into being. What is the deference between “Sharing the Gospel” and “telling people about God”?
Primarily an attitude of acting like you’re an equal have empathy over their plight vs. an attitude of superiority- you’re better than them and if they would just live like you they would be fine.
Explain what empathy means:
When we attempt to understand a situation from another’s perspective
Explain how a lack of empathy caused a breakdown in communication and relationship between Jason and Romero in the “Tale of Two Perspectives”.
Jason was focused on “getting the job done” rather than on getting to know Romero and working together. Romero was focused on being grateful for the home that would benefit his family, rather than confronting Jason (Matthew 18) about being left out of the process.
Explain how showing empathy could have led toward building a strong relationship between Jason and Romero in the “Tale of Two Perspectives.”
If Jason would have taken the time to get to know Romero he could have not only built a lifetime friendship, but also created a system where many more could benefit from his professional knowledge. If Romero would have confronted Jason, it would have provided an opportunity for Jason to realize that God called him there to build relationships, not houses.
