What are passions defined as?
Deep forces in our lives that compel, impel and propel
What does it mean for a passion to be impelling?
It needs to exert a moral pressure that leads us to act because it is the right thing to do.
What does it mean for a passion to be compelling?
A passion that produces an overwhelming pressure that stirs us to take action
What does it mean for a passion to be propelling?
A passion that causes action that moves us forward or onward

Curiosity is sparked

Interests we would pursue if we had no limitations, wishes and longings, we pursue interests with a greater intensity, but that not of a passion
Explain the sacrifice portion of the “passions developed” model.
We are willing to set aside other interest and desires to pursue these passions. The desire must bring a deep satisfaction in our lives
