Either Spouse, acting alone, can act on behalf of the community and can bind the community to obligation
- the SP of husband is liable for the cost of necessity if the community property of the spouses is not sufficient to satisfy such debt.
- Wife must support the husband at her SP when he has no separate property and they have no community property and he, from infirmity, in not able or competent to support himself.
