What are common nouns?
General nouns e.g dog
What are proper nouns?
Specific objects, people, things e.g Shakespeare
What are concrete nouns?
can be touched e.g. a plug, a phone
What are abstract nouns?
nouns like love and pain- about feelings and states of being
What are collective nouns?
used to describe groups e.g. a flock of birds, children
What are coordinating conjunctions?
will work to join two of the same clause together and these are conjunctions like ‘and’ ‘or’ ‘but’

What are sub-ordinating conjunctions?
will join a main clause and a subordinate clause together e.g. until, because and before
